room you actually have.
Some futon frames open from the front and close from the side,
so make sure there will be room for you to maneuver around the
frame. Some frames open from the front and close at the front as
well, called "front loaders", these frames are easier to use but
can be more expensive.
When considering the style of your new frame the world is your
oyster! From contemporary to traditional, and everywhere in
between. There are solid hardwood frames, bamboo rattan frames
and metal/wood combo frames for the budget minded customer.
The Mattress Matters:
Futon mattresses were originally made of cotton, but have evolved
into a softer mix of cotton and foam. People who originally bought

they are, and have switched from traditional coil and waterbed
